google now

I am confused about how to use google now, I thought is was like siri but it keeps saying something about cards, Also can you only use google calender with google now I use cozi calender and love it but I guess it does not work with google now. Any help Thanks

Google now is still in the works. What I did was imported my calendar at work to a google account.
