google now cards

Touch and hold the search key, on the bottom right hand side of the phone, which will bring up Google now. Then go the far left settings key on the phone to bring up the Google now options. Go into the sample cards option and turn the card on or off, and you can deal with the card settings in there too

Interesting...my Google now doesn't work apparently...

Hmm..... Basically just activated it when the jelly bean update came a couple weeks ago. Then just messed around with settings after that. Thought all phones got Google now with the update?.....

I probably have it turned off..since my locations settings are shut down...don't want aliens tracking me...quick...put on your foil hat!! Lol

Google Now is a widgit connected to Google Search. On my GS3 Google Now shortcut is the blue Google Search button. To activate for constant on, goto apps, top right corner see "widgits". Find Google Now. Long press and slide the widgit to open screen area. Google Now will take most/all of a spare home screen. See settings of Google Now to input your preferences.

I added the blue search button to primary home screen as a shortcut/manual push. At times Google Now will say no cards.

Lol! I hear ya, kind of weird knowing someone somewhere is watching you. Oh well.... Oh wait! Did my front facing camera just turn on by itself! Aaaaahhhhhh!!! They've come for me! :-D keep your glasses on people. It's the only way to "see" them.

"I've come to kick *ss and chew bubble gum. I'm all out of bubble gum"

Google Now can estimated traffic to home/work using cell towers.

Thanks for the assist, so glad we have folks willing to deal with dummies. I now, no pun intended, have it working.
