Google Nav Specific Route From Computer

So I saved a driving custom route I made on Google maps on my computer.

Then on my phone, I loaded the map by going to layers-->my maps and the route.

It shows me a map of that route, but when I clock navigate it just routes the fastest route.

I want the specific route I mapped out to avoid traffic. How do I google Navigate that specific route?

Good question, I travel with a camper and like to make my own routes avoiding some of the major highways.

So far using My Maps I can store locations and jump from one to another but that's a pain to get the route I would like takes forever to set up and I'm constantly restarting a new route.
