Can i use google music player to play songs i download with other apps without having to sign up for there service? the reason i ask I because Im doing that, but don't recall signing up with them and dont want any surprise charges on my bill... Thanks

You have me confused, a little. The Google Music app was really intended to primarily do what you don't want to do. It sounds like you haven't used it, and if that's the case, I wonder why you wouldn't just use something better, like JetAudio or PowerAmp?

Vote for power amp. But don't disable Google music player.. Other sounds use it to play through.

I don't mess with Google music...primarily because I like the preamp and eq of power amp
