Google Maps Force Close

Wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen. Probably 3-4 times I have had my Google Maps FC which leads to lost configuration. By this I mean that it basically resets it back to the default settings and I have add Labs items and rejoin Latitude, etc. I just uninstalled the updates and re-installed.

been using maps on cm508 yesterday and on froyo today without seeing that.
if overclocked you might be set to high.

I think that you probably have a rogue app causing this. If You have task killers remove them along with virus protection. If that's not an issue then you may need to do a factory data reset out of your privacy settings.
