You can save locations directly in Google Maps. Go to Google Maps and enter your location. You will see an option to Save To.. Click on it and you will see Save To My Maps.

Once saved you can access that location in Layers - My Maps amd get driving directions.

You must sign in with your gmail account on google maps for this to work.

You can also save routes and have them show up on you phone.

has anyone else had problems connecting to the GPS? with the new update, it loses GPS a lot more.
