You can now pair multiple Google Home smart speakers together as a stereo pair. This was originally introduced for the Google Max speakers but is now available for all Home smart speakers.
To set up a speaker pair > open the Google Home app > tap on one of the speakers you want to pair > then the settings icon (cog) in the top right corner > scroll down and look for Speaker pair > tapping it starts the process and asks you to choose which units you want to pair > pick a left and right channel > then assign a name & room to the joined speakers.
