To be honest, I am not sure what you are referring to. Where or when did this come up on your phone? Are you referring to the request for to keep location data?
Thank you - yes I know where it is I just wondered what it is and whether i should have it turned off or on. I am used to yahoo browser - is there a way i can get yahoo as my default browser?
instant beta is on the phone and on desktop browsers (googles for sure dont know about firefox or explorer tho) what is does is while you are typing in the search bar it is already searching for your request. It is a cool feature for chrome because sometimes my request is found in less than 5 letters regardless of the actual length of the sentence. due to the power behind searching it may or may not effect the battery.
Google instant is a bit irritating (for me) on mobile browsers. I turn it off.
Browsers are programs used to display and surf web pages. Yahoo does not make a web browser, only web pages. If you like, you can set your Android's home page to Yahoo via menu > settings.
My favorite browser on Android is Dolphin HD, free from the market. Set user agent to Desktop to see full web sites instead of neutered mobile versions.
