Google Assistant No Longer Speaks The News

Hey All,

I've been noticing for the past three days that when I ask my pixel XL to "tell me the news" it just takes me to a page with news, where it says it's found some things that might interest me. My Google home still responds properly to the command. Any thoughts, or is any one else experiencing this?

Welcome to the forum, bradfullilove! I don't use Google Assistant but I'm betting it is a setting that's changed, although I didn't notice anything when I just checked. What happens if you tell it "listen to the news."
