Do you think that Google will be of mind to free the bootloader on our phones now that they are the new owners of Motorola?. How should we go about asking for something that has kinda been promised? In the name of the android community and its spirit, Google, should offer us the freedom they wanted for the community and the power to release it should be a request from the community.:yeahbaby01:

I don't have a definite answer. I just wanted to add that I'm hoping for this too. It would be great if Google just unlocked the bootloaders of all the Moto phones across the board.

...that is an amazing idea...I never would've thought of that. The only problem is that the carriers wouldn't be on board.

I know. It's the beautiful ideal contrasted to the stark reality.

Google just bought Motorola for the patents. Nothing more, nothing less. Motorola will still continue to do business the way they know how. With locked bootloaders, subpar UI and quality control issues.
