Going crazy and NOONE can hear me,

Am I the only person who has this problem: No one can hear me when I am on the phone, I can hear them but they CANNOT hear me. If I leave message on someones message service and play it back sure enough all I can hear is some of my message in a very low bad quality recording. I can only be heard if I use a head set or my Parrot in my car. I hate head sets and I can't hear on those useless things. Also, my screen goes to sleep and won't wake up sometimes I have to remove the battery to reset the phone to wake it up. Both of these issues I have had since day one of getting my Droid. I returned my first Droid the day after I purchased it because of the exact same issues. I have not bothered until now to try do something with this because I thought it must be the same with every Droid and when I returned my first Droid, the staff at the store said they could hear me and said they could not recreate the same problem making me seem like I was a crazy lunatic with hallucinations. It's now at the point where I either will throw this phone as hard as I can against a brick wall or put it in the blender and blend it and then flush it down the swanny where it belongs. I am so frustrated and fed up with it at this stage. It's giving me heart palpitations every time I try to use my phone. So today I decided that a phone even a Droid is not worth Dying for. If I continue to use this phone it will give me a myocardial infarction. It acts up or malfunctions 90% of the time then I get so frustrated and upset that my heart starts to race and I start to over ventilate.
So enough is enough, I think it's time to move on before I literally do move on.

Why can the vzw techs talk on it fine? How can they not recreate but you have the probs? I don't get it
Becasue they are literally shouting on the phone because they have to talk very loud or shout becasue of the noise level in the store and as far as the screen going to sleep. You have to be using the phone continually for about 10 minutes before it starts to malfunction. I hope that answers your questions

1. Turn off your voice privacy : settings----> call settings---> scroll down to "voice privacy and uncheck it"
2. Go to EVRC-B vocodec Dial "##program" and press send. Enter code "000000"
In option #4 change the vocode option to EVRC-B.
WARNING: There are some isolated areas where EVRC-B is not supported and your phone may not work at all . Switch back to old vocodec .
3. Reboot your phone every 2-3 days
4. Don't cover the noise cancellation mic on the back of the phone , I called from Droid to Droid and it does have an impact
5. Keep the phone in a correct position , not in a vertical or horizontal position or away from your face , the mic should be as close as posible to your mouth . I called from Droid to Droid and tested this and if you don't keep the phone right it does make your voice sound muffled . I noticed a lot of people are holding phones in a vertical position , with the mic toward their neck , this is how you get the worst sound from this phone .

If you have a lot of apps installed , factory reset the phone and try the above .

If this doesn't solve the problem maybe you are in a bad area , or you got a bad phone .
