Typically verizon drops price of a phone a few weeks or a week before a comparable device (replacement) comes out. I dont see them dropping price for awhile until a device with ICS comes to verizon and I honestly have no clue when that will be. Like the HTC rezound vs the Nexus, similar specs but nex has a bigger screen and ICS and the rezound is $199 afaik.

I'm not really sure why, but I got mine Thursday night for $169.99 on the Verizon website.

I was eligible for a $30 NE2 but when I went to check out there was an addition $100 taken off.

I believe you get $100 off when you move to a 4G device.

Yep if you live in the Midwest. I made a stink about that when I tried to upgrade (since I live in georgia) so they took 30 bucks off my bill for the next 12 months and I got to use my 50 dollar NE2

That was it, the midwest $100 discount flyer that was mailed out only in the certain area.

Verizon is usually the last to price drop. I know it's cheaper on Amazon now.

so are you saying you getting $30 off each month for the next 12 months? Plus a $50 discount off the top of a phones particular upgrade cost??

not sure if it's a sale, but the razr/razrmaxx/galaxynexus are all $50 off on vzw's site right now. just checked a sec ago.

EDIT: i noticed they're all back to $299 when i'm not logged in. must be my corporate discount.

Correct. I told the CS rep (*611) I just wanted the 100 dollar discount like other Verizon customers were getting. It took an hour of me arguing with him, but he finally agreed to give me 30 dollars of my bill for the next 12 months and I still got my NE2. A far better deal than what I was asking for.
