Gmail widget 2x2

I'm unable to get a Gmail widget that's 2x2 (3x3 only) on my Razr ICS but I'm able to get an Email widget that's 2x2... um, that doesn't make any sense, Google. How do I get a 2x2 Gmail widget, and can I reduce the font size so I can see more emails in it?
