Gmail Sync doesn't stay synced after OTA update.

Ever since yesterdays OTA update I have to go into Google accounts and sync my mail every time. Why won't it stay synced?

Thanks

Check the settings. The sync may have been switched to manual. Open your email, tap menu, settings, and look for the update or sync time.

This post is Incredible 2!

The Bionic doesn't state a sync menu but you can select the gmail account and click it will sync now but no options to set a timine you wnat it to sync. Thanks

Look under settings, accounts

Do not recall seeing refresh interval in settings or in gmail app.

I notice a screen where I can select the field and it will instantly sync but why can't my Gmail always stay synced constatntly so when I recieve an email my phone should get it like it did before the last update.

I think what your looking for is located in Menu -> Settings -> Battery & data manager -> Date delivery -> Email and corporate sync.

No the email and corporate sync doesn't work since its not highlighted. My gmail doesn't sync correctly ever since the latest update. I have to manually hit resync to get new gmail WTF

I took, Battery, SIm card out put back in and still when ever I get a gmail my phone doesn't get the message unless I manually sync it up. WTH

I've been having problems with GMail pushing email to my Bionic also. I turned off all of the sync settings, rebooted the phone, and then turned them back on. I THINK that has fixed my problem.

Open gmail. Then menu... accounts. Then from accounts window press menu again... then account settings. Verify auto sync enabled there.

THANK YOU!!!! This has been a pain in the you know what. I didn't think of there being a menu inside of another menu. One of the things I have noticed, and read about, is that the different models seem to move some of the various items around even though they are running the (close to?) same version of android.
