Gmail keep force closing

For some reason my Gmail app keep "force" closing, I have gotten that message on screen about 10 times today, and everyday since friday.

Any ideas?

i have the exact same email...but with the normal email client. i've tried as many things as i can, but it seems like whenever i get a new email notification and try to open the email it crashed. when it reopens and i try to open the email again...all is fine.

very annoying.

I have issue too. I tried booting in safe mode, issue persists, which indicates it's not a third party app causing the issue. To boot in safe mode, power down phone, open physical keyboard, press the menu button on keyboard and hold it, and the power button till past the Droid opening sequence. You'll know it worked if it says safe mode in lower left corner. Try this to see if it's third party program related.
