Gmail contacts displayed incorrectly

I just got the Fascinate and love it so far. Only one hiccup. When the contacts from Gmail were synced to the phone, half of them show up first name first and half of them show up last name first. If I go to edit them, the first and last names are in the correct fields. Ideas?

Yes this is a problem. Further more the groups don't sync at all. I spoke to samsung last night and they told me they are not going to fix this in the new version of software!! Could be a big problem for me.

I had that problem with a few. I think it has something to do with the fact that Google used to have only one name field and now has two. I fixed it by just deleting and reentering the last letter of the last name and saving the contact. That seemed to fix my problem. I only had a few that did that though.

That worked great. I just deleted the first letter of the last name, re-typed it and saved it and it sorted the names correctly. Thanks for the hint.
