Gmail auto sync gone in 2.3.3?

Since switching to 2.3.3, my gmail sync settings are no longer available. Phone only seems to sync manually. The tab under settings that used to say accounts & sync now only says accounts& with no sync options. How do I get my device to auto sync?

I use the Power Control Widget. On a screen that has room for a large widget, press the screen and choose Widgets then scroll down to Power control and press. The sync symbol is the second from the end on right side. Turn it on and your gmail will start synching. Sounds like U have D2G but hopefully that has this widget.

From the home screen: Menu>Settings>Accounts>Gmail account>check synch Gmail.
