I can attest that this works just great. Thanks for posting this and thanks for helping me get this on my D2 successfully.

I have only ever installed widgets that I have downloaded from the market so please forgive my ignorance. If I download this widget, do I establish it like any other widget? Can I just drag it to the trash can to get rid of it. Probably will not be interested in uninstalling it, but I read a post in another thread where another poster was told to do a backup before installing in case he wanted to undo install. Also can I install the power bar on one screen while putting the you tube or news widget on another page? Anyone can answer if you'd like and no hurry, I don't want to bother Squid too much.

Edit: I just read at top of this post that it will install in system/app. Kinda makes me feel like this thing is going to function just like an app I would download from the market. I just don't want to have to do a backup to get rid of the darn thing, and again please excuse my ignorance.

No bother yes yes and yes it replaces the system widgets so it works like your factory widgets.
