Glad I kept my old rooted Droid around...

Wanted to hook up the Thunderbolt to my Exchange server, but we don't support ActiveSync, and I didn't want to set that up just for my phone. So while the good news was I was without work email on my phone, the bad news was I was without work email on my phone.

So I went back to my cracked OG Droid and grabbed Email.APK off it and sideloaded it. I'm able to sync with my Exchange server (and don't need Touchdown either!) using the old email client.

Edited ** here is EMAIL.APK that was loaded with the OG Droid. Works for Exchange servers that don't have ActiveSync going.

Posting files protocol is pretty simple. So long as it's not a paid app, you can post it.

I kind of think maybe you should have posted this in the hacking area, but I'm not going to move it. If you want it moved, report this post and we will move it.
