Pretty much nobody knows, the rumor was mid october. And nothing so far. So I would just try and be patient. It'll get here someday... hopefully

MetroPCS released an LG phone that is essentially a rebranded Revolution. That came with 2.3. So hopefully soon.

yea I've been checking here, Verizon wireless forums, and LG forums every day for the past like 3 weeks and still the same response of "soon"

Hmm the new LG enlighten is running GB. Seems weird that the Rev doesn't have 2.3 yet.

Then again none of the first ones (Charge, Thunderbolt, and Revolution) have yet to get Gingerbread.

My wifes Revolution got the update yesterday (3/23/12) morning. It is 2.3.6, but so far she says she can't see where anything has changed.

Tye update is auto I woke up in the middle of the night and found my girlfriends phone with a failed up date. I can only assume the rooted ROM.would not let an ota to stick
