Gingerbread update information

Because Motorola won't release the Gingerbread sources for their phones for a while, kexec won't be Gingerbread ready for a few weeks after release. Hopefully, the kernels will be full compatible, but I honestly doubt that would happen.

Summary: If you want to use or test kexec stay on froyo until we have a code drop.

Doubt it, but we can be hopeful about it.

I guess the hardware (radios and such) aren't changing, so the drivers should remain relatively the same?

Did you look for the Droid1 BT drivers? I thought they were the same? Just a thought.

Bluetooth is in the Wifi drivers. There could also be changes to the baseband which would be reflected with changes in the drivers.
