Gingerbread sucks

I've had my x since december and it was literally flawless. Since gingerbread, its been rebooting 5-6 times a day even during a call. The pics I take now have mysterious green and orange splashes on them and the videos cannot be played back. It gives me a message that the video isn't compatible with my phone even though it was taken with the phone. PLEASE GIVE ME FROYO BACK. My app icons also magically disappear from my screens at will. Then I have to put them back. What the he'll. And moto thinks im going to buy the bionic or another phone from them.

If you want Froyo back, just sbf.

I would recommend backing up all your info and doing a data wipe though, before you give up on GB. That being said, I am running a custom rom with the .595 leak and its been great

I'm running rooted .588 GB with no issues. Initially it rebooted every few minutes until I did a factory reset.

This is the first time I've heard these issues. GB has been running rock solid on every leaked version for me. Sbf and reinstall.

Troubles with Gingerbread on my Droid X.

I'm haveing the same problem with rebooting about 3 times per day. Never had the issue before the Gingerbread update.:angry: Suggestions?

There is an sbf for gingerbread now for those having issues from the ota! With an ota there is always the possibility of something not coming thru as complete as it should an sbf would be more of a wired update
