Gingerbread copy & paste

I thought I remembered something about Gingerbread having a copy & paste feature. How does it work?

I love how easy the copy function in Gingerbread is. All u do is, long press, the 2 ends will come up and u move them accordingly to what u want copied and then once it's highlighted then u tap on it again, and it'll say copied to clipboard.
Took me a few seconds to figure it out, at first it came up with just a white mouse arrow, I was like "WTF is this" but then once i figured it out, it's real simple.
