Gingerbread Apparently has Killed my Droid X

Updated to Gingerbread today and my screen is blank, even after two battery pulls. I did everything I was supposed to do and didn't touch the phone for a full 10 minutes after install. Then my icons disappeared and I could no longer switch among the seven screens. Finally, my screen went black.

I have no idea what happened. Never had an issue with it. Suggestions?

Boot into stock recovery and wipe data/cache

Mine locked up while looking at the forums and I had to do a battery pull to get it going again
It seems ok now.

OK, I got into recovery mode, but eventually had to reset to factory settings. Meh.
