Get OEM Device Fixed or Stick with CPO?

I bought the Droid Maxx a few weeks ago and yesterday it stopped working but today it's turns on but seems now it is not responsive on the screen and shuts off.Verizon sent me a Certified Pre-Owned one.I know I have a year warranty with Motorola so I could send my original back to Motorola and get it fixed but I'd have to wait a few weeks.Any suggestions?
