get my photos off droid htc to my pc

Hi forgot how to get my pictures from my droid incredible to my pc. Can I just get it off phone or do I need the sd card removed?

Usb device to pc, mount as a drive, search for *. Jpg on sd, drag and drop to pc.

You can install the (non-sense) Gallery app from the stock Google build of Android. That has Picasa functionality built in.
