Gaming PC thoughts?

DDRM5? Not sure what you mean by that. And I don't really don't see myself needing more than 16gb of ram and I can only see using that for one thing so I think I'll be fine with home premium.

Ddr5 is faster for the gpu to "talk" to the CPU.

I think I'll be fine with the ram I got, lol. Fast enough for me. Also figured out I can use those two brands of ram together. So that's good.

Okay, a numbers guy, 680 minimum, ddrm5 almost a must, if you want to run it at near Max.
660 with ddrm5 1080p maxed out will only net you in low 40s

You realize the optic nerve only recognizes 24 fps (blue ray is 24fps) any thing above that is moot, the quest for 60 is to make 60hz work at the optimal speed.

I still don't know where you got ddr5 ram from, I've never heard of it. Closest thing I've found is gddr5 and that is fast but its only for graphics cards. As far as I know anyway. And I'm not to worried b/c I've seen BF3 maxed at 1080p, gtx 680, with 8-16gb of 1600mhz ddr3 ram and a i5 3570k play at a avg 70 fps. And skyrim at around 80+ without mods at max.

And yes I get the whole 24 fps thing, but I play minecraft on my crappy laptop at about 24 fps and I can tell the difference b/t 24/60, or even 24/40. 60 is just...silky? Lol

Yes no argument there

Where you talking about graphics ram? Gddr5? Because I wouldn't buy a gfx card with anything less in it and a 600 series card probably wouldn't have any less. And I do wish we had gddr5 speed in normal ram, gtx 680s memory runs at like 6000mhz vs. Ddr3s 1600-2800(fastest I've seen)
