Gamers feast your eyes on some amazing graphics that devices sporting this amazing processor will bring you. NVIDIA is working closely with developers to help them exploit the added firepower of Tegra 2 so as to deliver some awesome on screen graphics.

Gamers will also be excited to hear about the Tegra Zone: an application used as a showcase of Tegra partners' wares, to include video and gaming content, reviews, news, photos, and trailers of the games that are optimized for the Tegra chip. Very exciting indeed!

Enjoy!

Some more News from Androinica:

NVIDIA is really vying to win Android Best in Show for this year’s CES. They’ve already been a big part of most of the best announcements throughout the various keynotes, and they aren’t done. The newest from NVIDIA is that they are opening their own game store for high-end Android games, just to make those of us without Tegra 2 devices feel more like outsiders. The store, named the TegraZone, will be available in the Android Market as a standalone app. It will feature graphically intense games designed to run best on, you guessed it, the Tegra 2 system-on-a-chip powerhouse, but will be available to any games out there that want in.

The best thing about the TegraZone is that it will use the Android Market payment backend, so you can charge the games to your carrier if that’s available to you, or just use your normal Google Checkout payment option. Second best, no game size limit! The Android Market recently upped the file size limit to 50MB, but some of the best games on iOS are far bigger than that, so the TegraZone will finally allow those games to make their way to Android.

There will be quite a lot of info available on each game in the TegraZone, including:

■Gameplay videos
■HD video trailers
■Behind-the-scenes videos
■Professional reviews
■Unlimited screenshots and description lengths
The TegraZone is launching sometime next month with 5 games: Fruit Ninja THD, Backbreaker THD, Dungeon Defenders: First Wave, Monster Madness, and Galaxy on Fire.

CK, may be al little off topic, but do you know if current games/apps will run on the dual core as is, or will developers have to make updates to the games/aps?
