Gallery closes without opening

I hit gallery from my app drawer and it starts to open then closes. No fc. I'm on darkslide 4.2....

I downloaded gallery 3d just to get by cause I had to send some pics out. Still would like to know why. I used bloatfreezer on some stuff but I've used that forever and never had this issue... Hmmmm
