Galaxy tab gets an update before us fascinate user?!

We haven't even seen 2.2 and the tab is getting updates what's up with that obviously Samsung is using the ota for that so we wont be seeing anything for awhile

Samsung doesn't push updates, its the carriers who do, so you should be complaining to Verizon.

I understand what you are saying, but it's still Verizon's decision about when to release an update (when they get it). Maybe Samsung is still working on the update (no one has been able to provide any insight into this), but that doesn't mean Verizon will automatically release it as soon as they get it. Often times carriers will withhold an update for sales purposes. In the end, the update(s) comes from your phone carrier (who work in conjunction with the manufacturer).

Since you work for Samsung, maybe you can shed some light into when an update is likely?

Im sure Verizon is dragging their feet. They did with the Droid 1.... Thankfully there was a leaked 2.2 long before that.
