Galaxy beam in other devices

So I saw the galaxy beam the other day and was impressed. Problem is I'm a loyal note 2 user. In fact I love my phone and its huge screen so much I'm not willing to give up any size at all. Anyway, I've seen the waterproof s4 too. And I was wondering what you guys think. Will we se these features in other platforms. Specifically the note 3. I was about to upgrade but don't want to if 2 months later the note 3 active or beam comes out. I would think that putting these features on their flagship models would make sense.
