Froyo bricked my phone

So, applied the Froyo update with numerous problems to messaging, phone list, Flash, etc. Took the phone to the store and they could not even do a hard factory reset. The phone still works for the basics.

They are sending a new phone via FedEx. I am still within my 30-day window so thought about my options (Fascinate buy one get one free). seems like a lot of various issues on the Droid forums with this update.

Verizon rep's stated that the OTA updates may have failed even though it appears to have been successful. My phone surely attests to that one.

like with any software upgrade... the ones you hear the most are the ones with issues, and they are probably 1/10 of the people who upgraded. All phones have their issues, its just a matter of how aware of them you are.
