Froyo 2.2 update

I didn't really know where to put this so here it is I got milestone a854 running stock rom 2.0 update1 and is rooted so when I update to froyo 2.2 what do I need to do so it goes off smoothly I mean I kinda need to know how to attempt it!

I need to know the process for updating to froyo 2.2 currently Im at 2.1.1 rooted. My device is a moto milestone A854 stock rooted also have busybox, term emulator, milestone overclock running at 1200Mhz Max volt.80, ROM manager, Titanium BU*root*, Astro
