Does anybody know what this is? It has showed up a few times today in my running applications and says it's part of Google Maps. Please help! Want to make sure it's not a virus coming from the new update that came out yesterday.

Since no update came out yesterday it's not a virus. When the update comes out I guarantee it will be virus free.

You shouldn't worry about viruses. Is it possible? Yes, remotely but it's highly doubtful.

It may be part off the 4.1+ update that is spoken if in the other thread? Sounds like something that shows where your friends are on the new live wallpaper. Only a guess though.

Thanks tehpriest. Yeah, i obviously know that 2.1 has not come out I did mean the Google Maps update. thanks for the guess, it sounds logical at least.

Could be latitude...

Not lattitude....how is no one else experiencing this? Should I just uninstall the Maps updates? Seems like kind of a ridiculous work around.
