Frequent soft reboots when copying to and from the SD Card

When I transfer files to or from the SD Card, mounted on my Mac through the phone, I get frequent soft reboots on the phone, which causes the copied files to be corrupted.

Is there any way to fix this? I'm coming from Liberty 1.5 and did not have that issue there. I did a full phone reset + SBF prior to installation of Apex 1.4.1.
