Free way to send MMS

I use google voice to send free text messages and really like it, but how do I send picture messages for free? I know I can email, but that really isn't an option since alot of my friends don't have smartphones.

right now emailing is the only free way to send pictures

There are some free MMS service you can find online. But, free services have limitations and may require registration or some other stuff. Search using the keywords: "Free MMS service"
