Forum help please

This is the first forum that I have ever been a part of and I am loving every minute of it but I have just one question. Every time I post to a thread it I become subscribed and recieve emails to them. Is there anyway I can pick and choose what threads I want updates from? Thanks...

Hello and welcome.

go into your User CP choose edit options (in left pane) and scroll to the Messaging & Notification section

you will see Default Thread Subscription Mode make sure it says "do not subscribe"

To subscribe to threads when you open them you will see the toolbar that says "Thread tools" click on it and choose "subscribe to this thread"
