Formatting SD card in the Incredible?

I want to be able to formt my SD card while in the INC. When I go to the option for doing this under Settings it is greyed out and when I click on it nothing happens.

Hi stanwelks, you're very close to the correct option to format your SC card while it's in your incredible...

Go to settings > SD card & phone storage > choose "Unmount SD Card"

Once you've chosen to Unmount your SD card, the option to Format SD card becomes available to you.
