Formatting an SD card?

When reformatting a damaged sd card, what information is all lost. IE:music,photos,contacts,apps. A list of everything on the phone that is deleted would be great thanks.

I'm not positive but I believe that if you reformat the SD card ALL existing data will be lost.

Photos, music, documents, and some information from third party apps that use the phone for storage. Your contacts, apps, are stored in phone memory, which is different.
