It's a known issue with 2.2. Motorola has acknowledged the problem and says they're working on a fix.

Yup! Happens to me occasionally also. I just live with it. They are looking into it, lol. I just don't use it enough for it to bother me. Hope they get a fix for you soon. I know it can be annoying.
