Force close battery manager (noob)

I switched from a droid 2 global to a droid x. I updated to 2.2 & now I cant view the battery statistics?

I could go to the batt manager, but if I press the baterry for usage statistics, it says "sorry, The application settings has stopped unexpectedly" and then I have to force close it. Help appreciated?

its a known issue. motos working on a fix i believe
