If you don't know already Peter Frampton has an excellent new album out called Thank You Mr. Churchill. Since no radio stations except Deep Tracks on Siruis XM plays any new music from classic rockers, I thought I'd pass this along.

I have Peter Frampton as a Facebook friend, no big deal because several other thousands of people are too. A few days ago he posted that he lost virtually all of his guitars in the Nashville floods. He was awesome in the day, and he's one heck of a nice guy today too. Sad to read that he did lose his guitar collection though. I bet there were some good ones, right Desso?

So does Tom Petty. DeepTracks rocks! :icon_ banana:

Yeah he does, and he comes up with stuff I forgot about.

One of the bands he plays from time to time is The Merry Go Round. Their main guy was their drummer, and when I was a kid we would listen to them play out of their garage in Hawthorne California.

They had 2 hit songs in California, I don't know if they did well across the country but I went looking on line and found Amazon had a CD of their music. 18.00 for like 24 songs but this is kind of a collectors thing so I purchased it. I like rare albums and stuff nobody else but me and Tom Petty know about. :D.

Yeah, I think quite a few artists lost major equipment in the floods. Frampton was one of my favorites back when I was 16 (1976) with his Comes Alive album. We were always blown away with his vox box.
