i have tune in radio. it's a streaming system. not TRUE radio.

so if the hardware is capable, why not use it ? only when reception isn't good i would turn to an app ...

I use it sometimes. Its a little meh as far as reception goes but when I feel like listening to music I like to have the option.

i guess it's a mod that's taking advantage of the chip's capabilities. if it were true fm radio then i would guess it would have been a selling point and advertised.
