Flashing Over?

So if I just flash the newest nightly like I would a regular rom, would I need to wipe or anything? would all my contacts/apps/data be there? would homescreens stay the same?

Everything will be there if you don't wipe cache/data... But you may experience issues with your phone...

As long as you are on a CM7 nightly, just wipe data and dalvik cache, then flash the new nightly over it.

Everything will still be on your phone

Yes it does...just wipe cache, not data, between nightlies.

Wipe cache and dalvik cache. Mount system, then install. Easy and clean. I've had 0 issues

I have only wipe delvik a few times now with no issues as well. I use Koush's Rom Manger and there isn't a option to just wipe cache and not the data with it.
