I was able to watch a video on tube8.com. Hey Mr. Jobs, you were correct. I am watching porn on my Android phone!

It's not really flash support. It just convert flash videos to html5 on their servers and sends it back to the browser. Still nice to have until 10.1 is released.

LOL
It is one of the first things I checked. Just for reference, I had to know if it was possible :)

I'm not usually one to bash a new product, but in this case....

Give up xScope? Really?

The pinch zoom is TERRIBLE.

You can't zoom some mobile format pages, for instance http://m.cnn.com

Entering a URL frequently updates the page header but not the content.

I'm sure I'll find more. It's a nice start though.

Call me when it works like xScope or even teh native browser. I don't need Flash video that badly.

I had skyfire on my Windows Mobile 6.5 phone and it was TURRIBLE...but I'll probably give it a whirl on the belief that Android runs everything better :)

I agree xScope is better, but why stick to one browser? I currently have stock (since I am not rooted and can't get rid of it), xScope (for browsing), Skyfire (for watching videos), and the new Dolphin HD which I am evaluating.

How is Dolphin HD?

I also keep the Opera Mini 5 beta for times when I don't have the greatest 3G signal. It's not a great browser right now, but it is extremely fast. It has something to do with Opera loading most of a websites information on their servers instead of loading it directly to your phone (or something like that). My point is, it is nice to have more than one browser for different occasions.

After running this bad boy the flash capability I find to be a joke. I'm more excited about Dolphin HD as a competitor. However, it's nice to have friendly competition even further!

To be honest phoxus, i really prefer Skyfire over xScope....for design, Layout, speed and the way this flash/video stuff is been done on it!

Just honest

Okay so far. It is still beta and not even in the market yet. No reason to choose it over xScope for now. Looks like it has lost pinch-zoom of mobile sites which the original Dolphin browser has. Sure they will put it in at some point.

IT IS in the market. Developers announced it that way and even THE BETA is better then xScope

What am I doing wrong?

Just went to both nbc.com and abc.com and when I clicked on the "latest episode" of a show, it ended up with a window saying "you need to download Flash". What's different from before I downloaded Skyfire?

Skyfire should transcode the video then pop up a little window from the browser shell which you press to watch the video. The page itself will still give you an error notification.
