Fixed my gmail

After forum help did not work I figured it had to be something I did wrong in my settings. Got an error code today saying username or password wrong, reset everything and still failed, changed ports ect. ect. ect.. Problem was I had changed setting from POP to Imap and did not change it in the drop down at top of page. Just saw the difference today, it stood out like a sore thump I and I never saw it. Thought I would post in new thread as most people will not visit the old post about no connection. Who knows maybe this might help someone and maybe not but the info is free.
