Dam now has me thinking after that mugsly video .. what was the name of the show with the smart dog I think and his sidekick who always said and now we will be right back after these messages.. dam or something like "Now here's something you will really like" ...

EDIT: OK it was Professor Peabody and cant remember sidekicks name" I think it was part of Capt. Kangaroo ...

Mr Peabody was a smart dog, his sidekick was a boy named Sherman, they were part of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Capt. Kangaroo did have many cartoons, none of which I remember.
