First Trailer for new All-Girl Ghostbusters Remake/Reboot is Out

The trailer is a bit "meh," to me. what do you folks think?

Idk how to feel about this movie yet. I'll see it, but I just don't know. Kristen Wig and Melissa McCarthy...I can kinda take or leave them, depending on the day.

I feel like Paul Fieg (sp?), the director, seems like he's got the passion for the originals, so maybe it'll be decent, but I'm just not sure whether to have faith in it yet or not based on the cast. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Can't say this enough. Stop redoing movies. You've run out of ideas we get it but remake stupid originals, not classics.

You guys said it all.

I didn't know whether I was suppose to feel humor, fear, or what. Ghostbusters worked because it was able to do comedic horror n away that was different. Based on the preview I don't see why I would even care about watching it even on Netflix.

If you are going to remix something it either needs to be better or add another element to the original. They just made the cast females and thought that would be enough. Maybe I may feel differently after seeing more previews. But right now I'm not wasting my money or time.

I'm interested.
It's one thing to REMAKE an original. That I CANNOT stand. Or another thing to redo an Origin Story (see Spiderman) of a movie that was only a few years old.

But this is not a remake. It's more like "part 3"...with girls.
I like Wiig and McCarthy. I'll see how kid friendly it is and MAYBE take my boy to see it (who loved the first 2).
