First Smart Phone: C771 Commando

Hello All,

Hurricane Irene took out my regular phone and I tried other waterproof regular phones but no joy. That led me to try the Casio C771 Commando.
So it was our regular plan $ +$30. (2GB / mth).

Now that I've been playing with the phone and reading on the net, I'd really like to customize, personalize... in a word, root my Commando with 2.3.3. I gave GingerBreak a try to no avail. So now I'm scouring the boards for a solution.

I just did some research trying to find an answer for you and the only article I came across so far lead me to believe that 2.3 for the commando does not have root yet. I will keep looking and let you know what I find.
