Firefox on Droid

I got the installation file for Firefox mobile browser now I just need to install it how do I go bout this? Any help greatly appreciated

BTW, I would have answered your question, if I would have known the answer. :) My guess is you could drop it in the apps folder on your phone, but that might not be right. Where did you get the browser file? Tell us more.

I would love the file also :). However in the good grace of the forum I will tell you one way to install it.

1. Download Astro file manager from Marketplace
2. Plug you phone into your computer.
3. Mount SD card
4. Make a folder named whatever you want
5. Put the .apk file in that folder.
6. Unmount
7. Launch Astro and find that folder.
8. Click on it and hit install.

alright so im on my pc i have the file just need to get it up here on the fourm what should i upload it as cause when i got to properties it says open with Windows Shell Common Dll

whats that mean? its the file that was downloaded when i went to the site but i couldn't do anything with it so i put it up here someone will figure it out i hope so i can install it on my phone :)

There's Firefox available for Linux right now but not for mobile.... it might seem like it'll work on the Droid but it won't! Believe me... when Fennec is available you won't be able to miss it!
